Experts assess damage after fire at Wythenshawe Hall

When fire ravaged an historic stately home in Manchester, its owners were simply glad the building survived.

Now, two months after the blaze at Wythenshawe Hall, they are trying to work out what to do with it.

But where do you start when ancient ceilings have been wrecked and Tudor timbers destroyed?

Stuart Flinders has been inside the Hall with the experts - as they decide what can be saved and what is lost forever.
