Met police chief: Armed police in London 'round the clock'

More armed police will be seen on London's streets in an effort to reassure the public and deter potential attackers, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe has said.

Speaking to the BBC, he said the officers would be visible "round the clock".
