G4S rebuts young offender centre criticism

Private prisons contractor G4S has been defending its performance after criticisms of the way it managed Medway Secure Training Centre for young offenders.

Regulator Ofsted has highlighted growing violence among young people and towards staff at the centre.

Jerry Petherick told the World At One's Shaun Ley the centre had experienced "an acute period of disruption" but that the company should have done things better or "in a different way".
