Football referee: 'I've been headbutted, punched and spat at'

Amateur football referees are planning a strike this weekend in protest at the treatment they receive on the pitch.

The walk-out has been organised by an 18-year-old referee, Ryan Hampson, who says he has been abused on numerous occasions.

He spoke to Joanna Gosling on the Victoria Derbyshire programme.

Watch the Victoria Derbyshire programme on weekdays between 09:00 and 11:00 on BBC Two and the BBC News Channel.
