Marine A's wife 'delighted' at appeal verdict

A Royal Marine who shot dead an injured Taliban fighter in Afghanistan has won an appeal against his murder conviction.

The court instead convicted 42-year-old Sergeant Alexander Blackman - known as Marine A - of manslaughter on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

Outside the court, his wife Claire Blackman was greeted by waiting campaigners with cheers.
