Nottingham PC saves drowning man: Dramatic footage released

Dramatic CCTV footage has been released of the moment a police diver saved a man drowning in the River Trent.

PC James Patterson, who was helping with crowd control at a Nottingham Forest match, ran from the City Ground and jumped into the river to carry out the rescue.

The man was revived, taken to hospital and survived.
