Syrian refugee 'ignored' by Stop the War Trump protestors

Hassan Akkad lived under President Assad's regime, where he says he was imprisoned twice and tortured for protesting against the government.

Now living in London, he was filmed opposing a Stop the War protest, which was called after the US bombed an airfield controlled by President Assad's government.

He said he wanted to be the voice of Syrians still in the country.

In the clip, Mr Akkad can be heard saying "I dare you to give me the megaphone" which is met with louder shouting to drown him out.

Film produced by Tehmoor Khalid.
