Mayor praises taxi driver who found daughters

The mayor of the Liverpool City Region has spoken of his gratitude towards a taxi driver who found his daughters in the aftermath of the Manchester suicide attack.

Steve Rotheram told the World at One "the taxi driver...walked through the streets of Manchester to go and physically get them and take them back to the cab that he'd left some distance away".

"I'm forever grateful for that show of kindness," he said.
