Northern Ireland's abortion debate: For and against

The DUP's anti-abortion stance has come under scrutiny as the Conservatives look set to do a deal with the party.

Unlike the rest of the UK, in Northern Ireland abortion is illegal in almost all circumstances.

But an upcoming appeal court ruling is due to look at whether it should be legal in cases of rape, incest or fatal foetal abnormality.
