How bad is online hate crime?

The Crown Prosecution Service says it's going to deal with online hate crime as seriously as offences in person. Kaye Medcalf, who is among transgender people who describe themselves as non-binary - meaning they don't define their gender as exclusively male or female. Kaye says abuse started at university - and the authorities often don't know how to respond.
