Lawyer: Award is 'testament to democracy'

Four Iraqi citizens have won damages from the Ministry of Defence for ill-treatment and unlawful detention during the Iraq War.

Their solicitor, Sapna Malik, has praised the judge's decision and said it was a "testament to democracy" that the government could be held to account in UK courts.
