Surrey Policeman remembers Staines air crash

A police officer from Surrey who was one of the first people to arrive at the scene of the Staines air crash has told of his memories of the day.

The 40th anniversary of the crash, in which 118 people died, is to be marked at a memorial service later.

Bernard Cooke, speaking to BBC Surrey's Nick Wallis, said when he arrived at the crash it was "deadly quiet".
