Three chief constables review outsourcing to G4S

Chief constables from Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire have called an emergency meeting to re-examine plans for G4S outsourcing in the wake of the Olympics security fiasco.

Early next week they are due to meet members of their police authorities to discuss further the G4S deal.

The Cambridgeshire Police Authority said it was "very concerned" about the issue.
