HS2 route causing concern in East Midlands
The proposed route of the HS2 high-speed rail network has concerned some residents and organisations in the East Midlands.
Trains would stop at an East Midlands "hub" located in the suburb of Toton, between Nottingham and Derby.
The government says the line will reduce journey times and bring jobs and other economic benefits.
But Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust says the route will devastate a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
