Does England need a 'Boris of the north'?
BBC Inside Out asks if a 'super mayor' similar to London's Boris Johnson is needed to speak up for the north of England.
The think tank Institute for Public Policy Research recently produced a report which suggested the north would benefit from greater powers and strong leadership.
Presenter Chris Jackson looks at some of the arguments for and against a major for the north of England.
He also meets Peter Davies, mayor of Doncaster, who is keen that his city does not play second fiddle to nearby cities such as Sheffield and Leeds.
He is sceptical about whether the wider north would benefit from a single 'super mayor'.
