Youth police and crime commissioner Paris Brown quits
The country's first youth police and crime commissioner has resigned from her £15,000-a-year post less than a week after being appointed.
The departure of Paris Brown, 17, follows the discovery of a series of comments she posted on social networking sites between the ages of 14 and 16 which are being investigated by police.
In a statement, the teenager said: "I have made this decision after a great deal of thought and consultation with my family."
