Camden HS2 'decade of blight' warning

Camden Council has said the borough will face a "decade of blight" from construction work if the high-speed railway, HS2, from London to Birmingham goes ahead.

It is currently appealing against a High Court ruling that effectively gave the go ahead for the stretch of track and claims the decision to build the line was unlawful because the impact on local people, businesses and commuters was not properly assessed.

BBC London's Transport Correspondent, Tom Edwards, spoke to restaurant owner Mohammed Salique, Robert Latham, chair of the HS2 Euston Community Forum and Councillor Phil Jones from Camden Council.
