South West heatwave wildfire warning by fire service

People are warned to take extra care when disposing of cigarettes and barbeques following a number of wildfires in Cornwall.

The county's fire and rescue service said the hot and dry weather had increased the risk of fires.

Dartmoor National Park Authority is asking people to take home glass bottles which can cause moorland fires.
