Murder victim from Droitwich Spa 'in wrong place'

The mother of a man stabbed to death when he tried to buy heroin said he was "at the wrong place at the wrong time".

Adrian Locke, from Droitwich Spa, was found dead outside a flat in Worcester in January.

Micah Golding, 22, of Crossfarm Road, Harborne, and Rikko Marks, 20, of no fixed address, were both jailed for life last month. Golding was ordered to serve at least 20 years and Marks at least 16.

Both had denied murder at Worcester Crown Court.

West Mercia Police said post-mortem tests revealed a large amount of alcohol was found in Mr Locke's system, with some cannabis, but no Class A drugs at the time of death.

His mother, Lillian Locke, told BBC Hereford and Worcester her son was "no drug user".
