'Thrown-out' Cramlington knitters get new home

A group of Northumberland charity knitters evicted from a library for being "too noisy" have got a new home.

Three years ago, Northumberland County Council asked the knitters to set up a group at their local library in Cramlington.

But then the council revamped the library and the Knit 'n' Natter group was told to get out.

But after the story went "viral" on the internet and the knitters were even interviewed by a radio station in New Zealand - they have been offered a new home.

Look North's Chris Stewart reports.
