Health concerns over women detained in China

The families of two women detained by police in south China say they are concerned about their health.

Mary Idowu and Esther Jubril-Badmos were buying goods for a market stall in Tottenham when there was a dispute and they were imprisoned for six weeks.

Ms Jubril-Badmos has heart problems and has run out of medication and Ms Idowu has missed a cataract operation, say their relatives.

Ms Idowu's daughters Sarah Murray and Laura Idowu, Ms Jubril-Badmos's son Greg Adeyeye, and Lonely Planet China writer Damien Harper appear in this report by Ayshea Buksh.
