Five boys released on bail in connection to school blaze
Five boys who were arrested on suspicion of arson at a school in Lancashire have been released on bail, pending further inquiries.
Leyland St Mary's Catholic Technology College was destroyed by the fire yesterday afternoon.
At the height of the blaze, 125 firefighters were involved in tackling the flames.
Fire chiefs said foam roofing materials in a 1950s part of the complex with no sprinkler system contributed to the rapid spread of the fire.
The school was due to open on Tuesday.
