Fracking: Shale gas deposits in eastern region
Two councils in the eastern region have set up working groups to look at the fracking process.
Fracking, which has prompted protests in some parts of the country, involves blasting shale rock with high pressure water to release gas lying miles underground.
Shale rock has been found in the region, and councils on Norfolk and Buckinghamshire have set up working groups, but so far have received no applications from interested companies.
Mike Liggins reports.
