Yorkshire and Humber economy 'on the up'

There are more jobs being created in the Yorkshire and Humber region than anywhere else outside London, according to the Prime Minister.

David Cameron made the comments as he visited workplaces in York, Halifax and Leeds.

He said more than 100,000 new jobs had been created in the region in the past three years.

Labour said families still faced a cost-of-living crisis and unemployment was still rising.
