PCCs in south of England mark first year anniversary
Police and crime commissioners in the south of England have marked the first year in their posts.
The government set up the commissioner role in an effort to make police more accountable, with a single "figurehead" monitoring and ensuring performance.
There have been criticisms that the public's awareness of their role is still low and over how much money has been saved by their introduction.
