David Cameron criticises length of power cuts across south
Prime Minister David Cameron has called the length of time homes in the south of England were left without power over Christmas and new year as "not acceptable".
Speaking to BBC South Today's Sally Taylor, Mr Cameron said power companies should work "round the clock" to have homes reconnected within 48 hours.
He also confirmed a review of compensation arrangements for affected homes and more investment in flood defences across the region.
