'Unprecedented conditions' on Sussex rail line

The line between Battle and Robertsbridge in East Sussex will remain closed until March as work continues to repair damage caused by landslips.

There have been 40 landslips across Kent and East Sussex since December, affecting rail lines including those at Stonegate and Battle.

Network Rail said it was dealing with "unprecedented conditions" on that stretch of the line.

BBC South East's Chrissie Reidy spoke to Fiona Taylor and Derek Butcher, both from Network Rail.
