East Midlands urged to double its exports to Brazil

Businesses in the East Midlands are being encouraged to double their exports to Brazil.

Six businesses from the region have travelled to Sao Paulo for a trade mission.

Robert Poniatowski of Leicestershire-based Applied Thermal Control, said: "We have to export - the market in the UK is pretty saturated. We've got to find growth elsewhere."

John Doddrell, from UK Trade and Investment in Brazil, said doubling the region's exports was "achievable".
