The blind guide who shows visitors around Ightham Mote

A Brighton man who lost his sight as a child has become one of the most popular visitor guides at a Kent National Trust property.

Cyril Thomas went blind when he was injured in Sierra Leone.

He is now using his love of history to give visitors a difference experience of the medieval manor house, Ightham Mote.
