Birmingham Airport smugglers jailed for £5m heroin haul
Two men have been jailed for smuggling heroin into Birmingham with an estimated street value of £5m.
Tahir Mahmood, from the Black Country, was given a 16-year sentence and his accomplice Anwar Bashir, from Bradford, a 15-year term.
The pair were filmed at Birmingham airport waiting for a courier who had heroin hidden under his clothing.
BBC Midlands Today's Giles Latcham was in court, and afterwards spoke to Paul Risby from the National Crime Agency.
