'Magnificent Seven' airlift Boscastle victims

Seven helicopters from the RAF, Royal Navy and coastguard airlifted 100 people after a huge surge of water hit the Cornish village of Boscastle on 16 August 2004.

The so-called Magnificent Seven spent hours plucking people from rooftops including the visitor centre before it partially collapsed.
