Thousands of Muslim marriages conducted in UK are not legal
Thousands of British Muslim women are discovering that their marriages are not legal.
Inside Out talks to Aina Khan, a solicitor dealing with Islamic divorce, who believes that thousands of couples are in marriages that have no legal effect in England.
Reporter Charlotte Callen discovers that the problem is directly related to the fact that 90% of mosques are not registered to perform marriages.
