Jail terms for £55m drugs gang
A gang which attempted to flood the North East with drugs has been jailed.
It follows the seizure of heroin and amphetamine, with an estimated street value of £55m, from a storage unit in North Yorkshire.
Nine men from Tyneside, Teesside, Northampton, Nottingham and Slough were given jail terms ranging from two years eight months to 11 years.
