Purley residents wait eight months for flood defence funds
Hundreds of people who were forced to leave their homes in south London, after a plan to divert floodwater backfired, say they still have not received promised funds.
The residents in Purley were forced to evacuate in February when their houses were flooded by water channelled away from other areas.
Councillor Kathy Bee of Croydon Council said the process of providing flood grants was "in hand" and there is still time for residents to apply.
BBC London's Anjana Gadgil spoke to residents Mark Kell and Chris Murray.
