Oxfordshire Council offices fire reignited by winds

Gale force winds helped temporarily reignite a fire at Crowmarsh Gifford council offices in Oxfordshire.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters had been tackling the reignited blaze in part of the roof.

A 47-year-old man remains in custody on suspicion of arson after a huge fire engulfed the South Oxfordshire District Council's premises on Thursday.

A funeral parlour and thatched cottage were also damaged by fires in separate but linked incidents.

Duncan Kennedy reports.
