Election 2015: A look at local elections in the South East

When the polls for the general election open on 7 May, the vast majority of people in the South East will also be asked to vote in local council elections.

Seats are up for grabs in every local authority, except for county councils, and Hastings and Adur councils in Sussex.

BBC South East reporter Peter Whittlesea has been speaking to local election candidates in Kent and Sussex.
