Expenses fraud MEP Peter Skinner's 'public trust' fears
An MEP who dishonestly claimed about £100,000 in expenses said he was "worried" about the public's trust in politicians.
Peter Skinner, 56, who was Labour MEP for the South East from 1999 to 2014, was found guilty of three charges after a trial at Southwark Crown Court.
Skinner spoke to BBC South East's Piers Hopkirk before he was sentenced to four years in prison.
