'Oldest cancer survivor' Victor Marston thanks doctors

A 99-year-old Hampshire man has been named by a hospital as one of the world's oldest cancer survivors.

Victor Marston from Ringwood had a bowel tumour removed at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital (RBH).

His surgeon said the great-grandfather-of-five was one of the oldest patients to be declared cancer-free, anywhere in the world.

Mr Marston said he was pleased to be given the all-clear because he had "so much left to do" with his life.
