'We need spaces like this to feel safe, because we don't feel safe after that attack.'

Hundreds of people gathered in Oxford for a vigil to remember those killed in the Orland nightclub massacre.

The event on Wednesday night was at Radcliffe Square, where messages on colourful labels have also been tied to railings.

Sunday's mass shooting in Florida was the worst in recent US history, with 49 people dead.
