Lauren Heath inquest: Family 'upset' with traffic accident verdict

The family of a young mother who was killed by a lorry have said they are "frustrated and upset" that a verdict of unlawful killing was not met by the coroner.

Lauren Heath, 20, was struck on Basingstoke Road, Reading, on 13 April.

Following the coroner's' conclusion at an inquest in Reading, family spokesman Shantala Heath said the family had complained to Thames Valley Police about its investigation into the collision, describing it as "flawed".

The coroner concluded that Lauren died as a result of a road traffic accident.
