Mother's Day: Mum remembers son seven years after death

On 2 June 2009, Infantryman Cyrus Thatcher died in Helmand Province in Afghanistan fighting for the British Army.

His mother, Helena Tym, is now marking the seventh Mother's Day since he died.

"I know I'm not the only mother that goes through the agony of knowing one of their children isn't around on mother's day", said Ms Tym, from Reading.

"It's the things you think you will never going to forget, like the sound of their voice, or how they feel when you give them a hug".
