Search for one-handed instruments

The search is on to develop a musical instrument that can be played at orchestral level with one hand.

Birmingham charity One-Handed Musical Instrument Trust (OHMI) wants to open up the opportunity for people with disabilities to play instruments.

Stephen Hetherington, who launched OHMI, has a daughter with cerebral palsy which limits the use of her left hand.

It left her frustrated at being unable to play traditional instruments properly.
