Christina Edkins stab death: Flowers laid outside school

More than 100 bunches of flowers have been laid outside a school in the West Midlands in memory of Christina Edkins.

The 16-year-old was killed on a bus in Birmingham while on her way to school. A post mortem examination revealed she died from a single stab wound to the chest.

Fellow pupils at Leasowes High School told BBC Midlands Today's Ben Godfrey they were struggling to come to terms with her death.

Rev Mike Rutter at the nearby St Peter's Church in Lapal said the community was in shock.
