Reggae star Apache Indian opens Handsworth music academy

A reggae music star is opening a music academy in Handsworth, Birmingham, to pass on his skills to young people.

Steven Kapur, better known by his stage name Apache Indian, had a huge hit with Boom Shack A Lak in the 1990s.

Laura May McMullan spoke to Mr Kapur, who grew up in Handsworth, and academy members Dominic Edwards, Mohammed Ahmed and Darwinder Kular.
