Driver dies in Wednesbury Royal British Legion crash

A lorry driver has died after his vehicle crashed into a Royal British Legion club building in Wednesbury.

The man was delivering milk when the lorry hit the club at the junction of High Bullen and Church Hill at about 20:00 GMT on Thursday.

The building suffered heavy damage and it was evacuated as a precaution.

West Midlands Police said the driver was the only casualty and urged witnesses to come forward.
