Library of Birmingham celebrates first anniversary

Almost three million people have visited Birmingham's new library in its first year, managers have said.

The £189m library was officially opened on 3 September 2013 by education rights campaigner Malala Yousafzai.

Since then 2.7 million people have visited, more than double the number that used the former Birmingham Central Library in its last full year.
