Halesowen farmer 'feared sight loss' after intruder attack

A farmer has spoken about how he feared he had been left blinded when he was attacked at his home by an intruder.

Robert Withers, 70, said he was struck on his face, right eye and nose.

He said the man had been loitering near his cattle and sheep farm on Illey Lane, Halesowen, at about 05:00 BST on 8 September.
