Gall bladder death prompts review call at Walsall Manor Hospital
A coroner is to write to a West Midlands hospital asking it to review the information it gives to patients who have gallbladder procedures.
It comes after Tracey Bannister died from blood poisoning, 48 hours after having a routine day procedure at Walsall Manor Hospital.
The coroner at her inquest recorded a verdict of death by natural causes.
Midlands Today's health correspondent, Michele Paduano, spoke to Ms Bannister's father Michael and the family's solicitor Amy Greaves.
