Popham air crash: Six-year-old 'conscious'
A six-year-old boy has regained consciousness after surviving a plane crash in which his parents died.
Lewis and Sally Tonkinson, aged 50 and 44, of Cookhill, Worcestershire, died in the crash near Popham airfield, in Hampshire, on Saturday.
Their son George has been receiving treatment at Southampton General Hospital.
Flowers have been laid at the family's home, while neighbours said they were shocked by the news, describing the couple as "hugely popular".
Jim Turner, George's head teacher at King's Hawford in Worcester, said the six-year-old would need a lot of support over the coming weeks and months.
