Crowing cockerel Bobby Moore prompts complaints

The owner of a noisy cockerel has been warned he faces a potential fine of up to £5,000 if he doesn't take action to quieten the bird.

Steve Jones, 61, from Kingswinford, West Midlands, who's a big West Ham fan, says he'll take his cockerel, Bobby Moore, to court with him if Dudley Council pursues the case.

The authority is currently monitoring noise levels.

It follows complaints from his neighbours about the bird, which is named after the England World Cup winning captain.
